Lord, thank you for my father, for his sacrifices and his love for me. Amen. When our dads are tired, overwhelmed, or feeling weak, Lord give them the strength to continue loving and working. Lord, give them the courage to stand strong.
Give a gift. If you can make it happen, offer the dads in your congregation a free gift. It could be as small as free coffee and a donut to start their Sunday. Or a little bigger, like a Starbucks gift card or a free devotional book. This is also a great opportunity to acknowledge other men in your congregation.
– Talk to Him in prayer and give thanks for all He has done.
– Spend extra time in Bible study to learn more about Him.
Help Dad to put his full trust in you, O LORD. Give him an unshakeable faith in Your Word and strengthen his desire to read it, memorize it, and order his life according to Your precepts. Remind of Your promise to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.

Get Active With Dad Plan an activity outdoors to do something fun. It could be a round of golf, or a fun walk or a hike — or even something as simple as throwing a ball around in the backyard. Making memories like this is one of the best parts of Father’s Day.

A Day with the Kids If Dad wants to make memories with the kids this Father’s Day, skip the restaurant and enjoy some active time as a family. Keep it simple with a hike, bike or picnic. Better yet, branch out and teach the kids something new. Dad can play coach as the children attempt his favorite obscure sport.
Many dads simply want some time to themselves while others want power tools, technology, or a nice home-cooked meal. But the main thing dads want is their families’ love, appreciation, and respect.
Try some popcorn seasoning for the dad who’s always suggesting a family movie night or an Apple AirTag for the dad who wants to stay on top of everything on travel days. If you have room in your budget for a splurge gift, we’d suggest a pair of Glerups slippers for the dad who loves getting cozy. Read more here.2 days ago
