The Cheshire Cat (/ˈtʃɛʃər, -ɪər/ CHESH-ər, -eer) is a fictional cat popularised by Lewis Carroll in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and known for its distinctive mischievous grin. While now most often used in Alice-related contexts, the association of a “Cheshire cat” with grinning predates the 1865 book.
A possible origin of the phrase is one favoured by the people of Cheshire, a county in England which boasts numerous dairy farms; hence the cats grin because of the abundance of milk and cream.
The quantum Cheshire experiments suggests that previous to a measurement, a particle may take two paths, but the property of the particle, like the spin of a massive particle or the polarization of a light beam, travels only through one of the paths, while the particle takes the opposite path.
The phrase “grin like a Cheshire cat” predates Carroll’s story, and, although experts have guessed at its meaning, its origin remains mysterious. The Cheshire Cat is a member of the Duchess’s household.
The Cheshire Cat is known for two things: his smile and his ability to appear and disappear. He can make parts of his body invisible or visible at will, at one point famously leaving only his smile visible.

Tattoo size plays a big role in determining the placement of the design you chose. Larger, more detailed designs need a broader, flat area like the back or chest. Smaller tattoos can fit perfectly on the wrist, ankle, or behind the ear.
Fine line tattooing uses small needles (often a single needle) to create a thin, delicate, intricate tattoo design evoking fine artwork and paintings on the skin using black and grey and color tattoo ink.
Fruits and vegetables are great simple tattoos for beginners. They use simple shapes and one color without a ton of detail.
Micro tattoos are tiny designs that are usually less than an inch in size. They can be as small as a quarter of an inch!
